- Brainstorming events
These are typically one-day events, where you are the focus of a brainstorming session for a predefined time. Before the event, the facilitator contacts you to discuss the expected results of the brainstorming session, in line with your specific needs. During the brainstorming session, the facilitator proposes ad-hoc questions or exercises to the group, in order to stimulate ideas and feedback that will help you achieve your expected results. When the turn of someone else comes, you provide feedback, insights, and ideas to help other participants. In so doing, you are likely to have fun and learn something valuable for your own business. When possible, during the event we also offer a one-to-one consultancy session with a professional business development consultant. A brainstorming session can be open to everyone, or target a specific group of people (e.g. only women who already have a business; only women who are looking for business ideas; or only women with common passions and interests).
- Mastermind Groups
These are short, regular meetings (e.g. monthly meetings, 2 hours each) that provide a mix of brainstorming, encouragement, and mutual accountability within a stable and committed group of people. The ultimate objective of a mastermind group is to help its members achieve their personal objectives by:
- Supporting and challenging each other to set goals and to achieve them;
- Receiving and providing feedback, and in so doing learning from each other;
- Brainstorming new ideas, when you are stuck on something and need a fresh start;
- Receiving and providing continuous support and decreasing your sense of isolation in developing your business.
In order to join a group, you need to commit on participating to all meetings, which are planned well in advance. Moreover, you need to be ready to both give and receive advice with courtesy, confidentiality and honesty.
The facilitator and the other members will keep you accountable. During a meeting, each participant, with the help of the others, will set some short-term goals and, during the next meeting, she will have to report on actions taken to reach them and on results achieved. We assure you, this will keep you going much faster than working in isolation.
You can enrol in a mastermind group at any time. As soon as we reach a sufficient number of interested people living in the same city, we start a new one. Contact us if you are interested in joining a mastermind group or if you would like more information.
- Thematic workshops
These workshops address specific information needs of many new businesses, for example: financing options for your business, preparing a business plan, marketing strategies, information around legal/tax/insurance aspects, etc. Topic experts and service providers will guide you through the different aspects of the workshop’s theme.
All events offer networking moments. At the end of each event, we ask participants for a feedback for continuous improvement.
